Voici une femme Munyabongo de la région de Kabare, au Kivu. Elle a la moitié antérieure du crâne rasés, trait distinctif réservé, dans sa tribu, aux femmes mariées. Son pagne est fait d'une peau de vache: elle porteau cou un épais collier de perles multicolores et, aux porte aux chevilles, des bracelets de fils de fer enroulés. extrêmement fins. Le tréfilage à froid de fer, qui fournit la matière de cette curieuse parure, est la spécialité des forgerons indigènes de la région de Luindja....
